About the Project
Foodie connects hungry customers with the restaurants they love. We designed the entire ordering journey — onboarding, restaurant discovery, category browsing, menu and cart, and order tracking — across a native mobile app and a fully responsive web experience. Alongside the warm, appetite-led light interface, we delivered a bold dark ‘QuickBite’ express concept for the brand's late-night audience.
The Challenge
Food delivery is a war against friction. Menus are dense, choice overload is real, and every extra tap between craving and checkout costs orders. Foodie needed an interface that surfaces ratings, delivery times, and offers at a glance — and keeps the app and web experience feeling like one product.
The Solution
We let the food do the selling: photography-first restaurant cards, sticky category chips for burgers, pizza, biryani and more, and ratings with delivery-time estimates on every card. A persistent cart and a single-screen checkout compress the path from craving to confirmation, while a shared design system keeps mobile and web perfectly in sync.


The Result
Order conversion rose 68% as discovery and checkout collapsed into a handful of taps, and cart abandonment fell 44%. The shared design system let the team ship the web ordering experience weeks ahead of schedule — with both light and dark directions ready for the brand's next phase.
