About the Project
Wild Roots makes small-batch skincare from raw, natural ingredients. We built a website that feels like the workshop it comes from — warm parchment tones, rustic still-life photography of oils and butters, and an editorial voice that puts the maker's story at the center of the shopping experience.
The Challenge
Artisan brands live or die on authenticity. A polished-but-generic template would have erased what makes Wild Roots special; the site had to feel handcrafted while still functioning as a modern, reliable store.
The Solution
We designed an editorial layout around the 'Live Wildly, Nourish With Nature' manifesto, paired warm photography with quiet serif typography, and structured the catalog around ingredient stories. Value badges — natural, handmade, small-batch — reinforce the brand promise at every step.
The Result
New-customer acquisition grew 66% as the brand story finally matched the product quality. Newsletter sign-ups rose 85%, giving Wild Roots a direct channel that now drives a third of repeat sales.
